Have you encountered an airport lounge desert? I strategically arrange all layovers around access to a lounge. Why are airport lounges important when you travel? According to Wikipedia, an airport lounge provides comforts not available in the terminal. Even though the St. Louis airport has a lounge, it’s closed on Saturdays.
Do you have a travel rewards emergency fund? I am intentional about how and when I use travel rewards to offset the cost of a vacation. However, life happens, and you may need to use your travel rewards for an unexpected trip. My former student canceled our trip to Houston.
Are you ready to attend a Chicago Bears Preseason Game? I am starting a new tradition of attending a preseason game every year. In 2021 I went to Nashville. Before the pandemic, I was in Indianapolis. The Bears were 2-0 before I headed to Cleveland for the final preseason game.
Are you ready for a timeshare presentation? I did not want to use my Hilton Grand Vacations points, so I took advantage of a vacation offer. I purchased a 3-night package at the Marriott’s Grand Chateau for $199. Of course, accepting the package means attending a 90-minute timeshare sales presentation.
