According to Wikipedia, an airport lounge provides comforts not available in the terminal. Even though the St. Louis airport has a lounge, it’s closed on Saturdays.
Do you have a travel rewards emergency fund? I am intentional about how and when I use travel rewards to offset the cost of a vacation. However, life happens, and you may need to use your travel rewards for an unexpected trip. My former student canceled our trip to Houston.

I purchased a 3-night package at the Marriott’s Grand Chateau for $199. Of course, accepting the package means attending a 90-minute timeshare sales presentation.
